A soft contact light inspired by the origami square preliminary fold. This was a one-week project produced from exploring the possibility of designing something “simple and elegant”.
This was made to challenge my tendencies to overthink and complicate my artistic endeavors. I hope to do a redesign with stronger LEDs and a replaceable battery. All circuit traces are made from needle felting using metallic wool and conductive thread, enclosed in a felted wool body.
