Low-waste T-shirt – Pocket Print

SKU: N/A Categories: ,

This item is currently in the works and will be available for sale in March!

This shirt is printed with a repeating pattern of dashed lines illustrating where a patch pocket can be sewn. The print works on its own, visually shows the possibility of more pockets, and acts as a guide for where to place a patch pocket. The latter goes hand-in-hand with a zine I am currently writing that teaches the reader how to hand-sew a patch pocket onto a piece of fabric (or shirt or bag!). This shirt is offered without pockets and with the zine for the DIYer and with pockets for people who just want a cute functional shirt.

The fabric is made from an organic cotton medium-weight interlock knit and has been prewashed before cutting. Wash using cool water and low-medium dryer heat.

Each shirt is cut from a low-waste pattern meaning that each piece is a rectangle which significantly cuts down on waste fabric while cutting the shirt from fabric. Each shirt is made by me.

Sizes are based on three patterns, however knowing that not all bodies are the same and not all people want the same fit, I modify the width and length of these three patterns depending on my current inventory. The size of a shirt is indicated by the width and length measurements shown as WidthxLength when purchasing.
Example size: 37.5×22
37.5″ is the circumference of the chest in inches
22″ is the length measurement in inches taken from the shoulder to the bottom.
